Do I have to open and read all the emails?
Sure! We encourage you to view them all. The more responses from our members, the more our advertisers will send email, and the more money you will make! A link is included in each message that you receive. You must CLICK ON THE LINK to verify that you received the message and credit your account.

Can I choose the cash back programs I want?
Yes, with one exception. Each member must be actively receiving paid email. This establishes an account where all your cash back activity is tracked, sort of a cash back “savings account”. If you elect to quit the paid email program, your account will close, and you will no longer accrue earnings from any other cash back program.

How are commissions paid?
Effective July 1, 2003 we will be implementing our new Shares Based Program. Shares will
accumulate during each month and be converted to cash within the first 5 business days of
each month. Shares are calculated by taking a portion of what the advertisers pay us and
dividing it up among our members. Once your shares are calculated the cash value of your
shares will be added to your check amount and your shares will start back at zero for the
new month. Commissions are sent internationally by Bank Check in U.S. dollars. Assuming
you follow our simple check request procedure, your check will be mailed within 30 days of request. Minimum check amount per month is $10.00. If
the minimum is not made, the amount will be added to the next month. In order to bring SMI
within Industry Standards, serve our members more effectively and prevent fraud, effective
March 15th, 2003, members who qualify for commission payment will have 30 days from date
of posting to request payment. Please allow 30 to 60 days to process payment requests.

Yes the program has been working since Sept 2, 1999. If you are not receiving email login to our members area and edit your account. Be sure that your browser is set to refresh every time you go to a web page. If your browser is set to refresh only when you start a new browser session you may be viewing a "cached page" instead of the realtime information.

Why don’t you automatically send checks anymore?
The biggest reason is that many members were not getting their checks due to incomplete or inaccurate mailing information. But also, we were dealing with an increasing amount of fraudulent accounts. By using the request form, we know that our legitimate members will be sure to get their check, and we’ll be able to reduce our administrative overhead.

If I decide to cancel, how do I do that?
Log into the members area, then click on "Unsubscribe". If your account balance is less than the minimum $10.00, you will forfiet that amount. Also, you may keep any service or program (long distance, etc.) but you will no longer earn cash back for them.

I'm getting offers for stuff I never listed in my Interest Areas. Isn't this spam?
We offer the interest selects to our advertisers as an optional service. However, our advertisers are under no obligation to use them, and may bypass these selects or choose other demographic criteria (such as zip code, age, gender). There is a disclaimer to this effect on the sign up form. And besides, the more email you get, the more you can earn. Click them all!

What’s the difference between an Affiliate and a Premium Affiliate?
We are very happy to say that we have many affiliates who have built up a large organization of “downline” referrals. Some have more referrals than others and regularly receive a monthly check from us. Any affiliate whose monthly earnings exceed $50 is considered to be a Premium Affiliate, and are not required to submit a check request form (with the exception of a one time data verification).
